If your following me on social media you would know by now that I was on the search for a Green Tea facial mask. Is it just me or is a Green Tea facial mask not so easy to find? I did find a couple, some of them didn't look reliable and others were ridiculously expensive. Luckily for me, my hunt for a Green Tea facial mask came to an end at the Anti-Ageing Health and Beauty Show when I came across the Timeless Truth stand.
Why Green Tea?
Now you all must have a slight idea why one would go chasing after Green Tea. Green Tea is an antioxidant which reduces the sign of premature ageing, refines skin texture and its ideal for acne prone skin and also enlarged pores.
I had not heard of Timeless Truth until the Anti-Ageing Health and Beauty Show, however I have heard of beauty and eye masks which seems to be making its way very rapidly towards the skincare industry...basically it's a thing now, you need to try it!
Timeless Truth are the amazing people behind these luxurious masks and I know they look quite scary but they are really amazing. Timeless Truth have two ranges of Beauty Masks:

I purchased the Green Tea Beauty Mask from the Fusion Range although I'm not sure if it's available in Green Tea in the Luxury Range as well.
I do a facial every Sunday before my hectic week at work starts and it's usually a clay or cream mask, so trying the Beauty Mask was a totally different experience for me.
The Beauty Mask is made out of light cloth and each of them come with a different colour depending on what you purchase. Now the Green Tea Beauty Mask was green which comes from the Green Tea extract and contains other ingredients such as non-toxic Hyaluronic Acid which holds water in the skin to keep collagen hydrated and the skin looking youthful. It also contains Aloe Vera to stimulate the growth of new skin cells and Chamomile which is an effective ingredient in anti-ageing and cleansing pores.
Before I opened the packet I didn't really know what to expect from it. The Beauty Mask comes drenched in all it's active ingredients. You simply just take it out of the packet, open the mask up, take off the plastic film, place the darker side on to your face and wait until 20 minutes is over.
As soon as the Beauty Mask went on to my face I could instantly feel a refreshed feeling. I have really sensitive and dry skin and this mask did nothing to aggravate that. Coming to the end of the 20 minutes, the masks was still wet so it does not dry out, you can just simply take it off, throw it in the bin and wash it off your face. After using the Beauty Mask once, my skin felt really smooth and soft and my skin looked brighter as well. It's one of the best masks that I have used since my Dermalogica cream and Body Shop Clay masks.
It's bought a different kind of pampering experience and it's fair to say I have already put down an order for a couple more Beauty Masks.
