When it comes to anti-ageing products, I think the earlier you start using them the better. I'm only 23 years old (even though some may still say I look as though I am 16 years of age) however I am determined to push back any signs of ageing and also prevent any damage to my skin over the years to come.
In one of my latest post I introduced the Beauty Mask by Timeless Truth. Facial masks that have brought a new pampering experience to the skin care industry and replaced all my other facial mask products. I’m a big fan of the Green Tea Beauty Mask and I have seen such a huge improvement in my complexion since I started using it which made me eager to explore the other products that they had to offer.
One of the Beauty Masks that particularly caught my eye was the Organic Silk Fibre Elixir Mask from the Luxury Range. The Benefits:
- Organic Bearberry: Bearberry increases the cell turnover rate and is an excellent antioxidant. It works to fight free radicals, preventing additional skin conditions and can be used as a natural sunscreen. It also has whitening effects which are excellent to reduce the appearance of freckles or age spots.
- Organic Algae: A rich source of omega 3 fatty acids preventing dry skin and plumps the skin out.
- Organic Eyebright: Eyebright (Euphrasia) is an herb which belongs to the Figwort family. The whole foliage (stem, leaves, and flowers) of Eyebright is edible and can be used in herbal medicine. The mask comes drenched in all of it active ingredients, so all you have to do is simple open the sachet and take the white plastic film off and place it on your face (make sure you cleanse your skin before applying the mask!)
Unlike the other Beauty Masks where there is only one plastic film to remove before application, the Silk Fibre mask has two so make sure you remove the second plastic film (the blue film) after placing the mask on to your face and allow 15-20 minutes for the mask to works it magic. Once you've removed the mask, there is no need to wash your skin a second time, simply just massage the remaining essence into the skin and voila!
