I love
blogging and even more I love the tools that are involved in the process of it.
Here are some of the blogging tools that I love to use:
I don’t own too many MAC products. My skin has never really agreed
with MAC cosmetics however from time to time I still find myself browsing the
MAC counter being tempted to buy something and one thing that I have constantly
read so much about is the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer so when I set my eyes on
it on my last visit I made sure I left with it.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
It’s a lightweight concealer which is about medium – high coverage and has a creamy texture to it but a matte
finish and it sets pretty quickly.
My most favourite thing about this concealer is that you literally
just need one pump to cover the areas that need to be concealed. One full pump
is quite a lot but I always end up dispensing a full pump as much as I try to
be really careful. A little bit goes such a long way with this concealer and it
lasts all day.
My first MAC love!
MAC Fix+
Yes…I did think this was a setting spray however I was so wrong. I
flipped it over to find that it was actually a skin refresher and a finishing
mist.
I’ve tried using the Fix+ before I applied my makeup and
afterwards as well and I didn’t really like the way it made skin feel before
applying the makeup and when I sprayed on my makeup afterwards I felt like
during the day my makeup was breaking down more quicker.
I know a lot of people rave about this product and how great it is
however it does not sit well with my skin so I’m going to give the Fix+ a
thumbs down.
Over the last few months my skin has decided it’s time for a
change. From having dry skin I now face the battles of having combination skin
so I’ve had to make a couple of changes in the skincare products that I use on
a daily basis.
I love the dead
straight and sleek look. However straightening my hair is not something I usually
like to do. With a regular heat iron it takes me ages to straighten out my hair
and it never seems to last on my long dark and long hair. Well that was my
story until I picked up on the L’oreal Steampod.
Sometimes the most
unexpected things make the biggest differences. Over the years I've come across
many beauty tips that have seem quite strange and unusual. Here I am about to
share five of my favorite rather strange beauty tips.
A double chin can be
quite embarrassing! It can not only lower our self-confidence but also our self-esteem.
But you don’t need to go all out on expensive treatments just to get rid of
your double chin however there are ways of concealing a double chin with the
magic of these very tips!
Putting on
make-up is like painting a wall, if you put paint on a badly prepared wall you
are going to have problems with the paint, it will chip, not stay on in the
first place, it will look patchy or the colour won’t set correctly. It’s the
same with your face. If you do not take care of your skin, if you do not keep
your skin in good condition, it will affect the look of your makeup.

Some products may have been given to me to review by PR companies, however this has never and will not ever change my opinion based on the products. All reviews and opinions that are found on this blog are honest and my own.
