It's been years since I picked up a product from the w7 brand. Back then, I was a teen and I hadn't had the slightest idea of makeup. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the goods when I received them through the post recently and I have been playing around with their products a lot. Recently I have been keeping my make up very basic and simple so when I received these products and gave them a little try they instantly fell into my make up bag and were put on stand by for me to use every morning.

I actually received 7 w7 products however one of them (eyeshadow) was actually damaged in transit so I was unable to actually review the eyeshadow even though it was such a gorgeous colour, so in this post I will only be reviewing 6, which are the:
- Angel Eyes | Silky Eyeshadow Palette (Out on the town)
- Showing Out Black (Mascara)
- Eyeliner Pot Black
- Chunky Cheeks (Shade:New York)
- Chunky Bronzer
- Butter Kiss Lipstick x2
ANGEL EYES | SILKY EYESHADOW PALETTE (OUT ON THE TOWN) - £6.95
I received the w7 Angel Eyes Silky Eye Shadow Palette (out on the town). The palette contains 7 shimmering and matte shades which can be used individually and also mixed together. The shades that come in this palette are very basic and subtle colours which are best suited to create natural and subtle eyeshadow looks.
I was very impressed with the quality of the palette and the packaging. It's very sleek and compact in design with a nice shiny black finish to it. The palette comes along with a eyeshadow brush and a mirror...basically nothing you would not already expect to find in a eyeshadow palette.
The palette reminded me of the Urban Decay naked palette, however in comparison to some of the other eyeshaodw palettes (high end and drug store) this palette does not compete well. The eyeshadow is not well pigmented which means you will be going back and fourth many times building colour up (this can get very annoying and just wastes time). However the palette is very budget friendly so for the price of £6.95, it's ok and suitable for day time makeup I suppose (if you have the time!).
MASCARA | SHOWING OUT BLACK - £4.95
The w7 Showing Out mascara is one budget friendly mascara that you need to get your hands on. The brush is designed to reach the eyelashes that are more difficult to lift with the standard mascara brush, The mascara delivers excellent results leaving you with voluminous and long eyelashes.
EYELINER POT (BLACK) - £4.95
I'm really picky when it comes to eyeliner. I've moved from Illamasqua precision liners to the drug store eyeliners but only because drug store eyeliners actually perform as well as the Illamasqua eyeliner just without the heavy price tag.
I've recently been obsessed with the Kubiss London eyeliner which is an amazing eyeliner. If Illamasqua think they got the precision liner then their wrong. If your looking for a eyeliner that is pigmented well so you don't have to keep on layering and one that gives you precision to allow you to achieve a very fine wing then you need to try the Kubiss London eyeliner, it's a budget friendly dream eyeliner.
The w7 liquid eyeliner is a similar to my favourite, Kubiss London however although the brush allows you to achieve a liner without the worries of having your brush taking overall control, it's a bit chunky making it uncomfortable to hold and get that very neat and tidy eyeliner look. The liquid is pigmented well but I find myself having to apply a little bit more to make sure the liquid is even all round. It's definitely not a eyeliner that I am reaching out for.
CHUNKY CHEEKS (NEW YORK) & CHUNKY BRONZER - £4.95
I've moved on from powder blushes and on to the cheek tints. Check tints are just so much easier and faster to use. Simply apply the tint to where ever you want (straight onto your face or using your fingertips) and blend it out.
I received the Chunky Cheeks blusher and Chunky Bronzer. Both which I have been using on a daily basis since I received them as I really cannot get enough.
The Chunky Bronzer however takes the lead. I love to contour, however with my morning rush it means there is no time for a glam makeup morning. Makeup needs to get onto my face and it needs to get onto my face fast. I use the Chunky Bronzer as contour and it works really well for me. The shade may not be perfect as contour for some but with my fair but olive undertoned skin the shade works really well for me. The bronzer has like a reddish sort of base and is quite shimmery and it can be very easily blended. I was impressed with the quality of the colour of the bronzer and how well it lasted throughout the day.
The Chunky Bronzer is priced at a friendly £4.95 and is very compact so you can pop it into your handbag.
The Chunky Cheeks blusher is also another one of w7 excellent products. As you can see from the picture below the blusher sets of a little shimmer which makes it the perfect blusher for summer time. The quality of the colour of the blusher is excellent and it is able to obtain the same excellent effects the Chunky Cheeks bronzer has to offer with the only difference in shade.
BUTTER KISS LIPSTICK (RED DAWN & PINK ICING) - £4.50
For me there is nothing better then having a lipstick in a gorgeous shade that not only enhances your look but also protects. If you suffer from dry lips then you will appreciate these lipsticks especially now that winter is fast approaching us.
I received these gorgeous lipsticks in the shades Red Dawn and Pink Icing. The Red Dawn being my favourite is a lipstick that I enjoy using on a daily basis, The colour is amazing, it's more of a coral type of red (I don't even know if that makes any sense!). The colour is highly pigmented and one application can last you for hours. I know with a lot of moisturising lipsticks, the lipstick will sort of wear it out after a couple of hours however if your always on the run like me and don't have enough time to touch up your makeup or perhaps you just can't be bothered like me then you will love these lipsticks. They last for a good few hours before you even think about applying more and on the plus side the colour is really rich in colour and it's very moisturising so you don't have to worry about your lips drying out. However if you do already have a dry and chapped lips, it would definitely be a good idea to do a little lip scrub before you apply this as I find that any dryness on the lips is highlighted when your apply this lipstick.
