With having the need to perfect every photo you post online with a filter can get a bit annoying especially when it comes to social networks like Instagram. Instagram has all the tools you need to perfect your pictures but in some cases you end up having to resize your photos because you want to actually post the whole picture rather then having Instagram crop half of it off. I end up resizing my photos on another app and then bringing it over to Instagram, however after posting the picture I end up having three copies of the same picture and that's the original, the resized and the Instgrammed picture. My photo gallery gets pretty full with these useless duplicates that I forget to delete afterwards. Can anyone else relate to me? I know I can just toggle the settings on my Instagram app...but hey what if I actually like the picture and would like to keep the new copy. I recently came across a great app that I have been using a lot recently which resolved some of these issues (not all I'm afraid!).

Pic.Tap.Go is a great little app that allows you to select the picture you want to edit or crop. My two favourite things about Pic.Tap.Go is that firstly they have a great range of filters that you can choose from and instead of clicking on each individual filter you get to see a little thumbnail preview of the picture with a certain filter in a grid. Once your ready to take your picture to the next stage you get to choose what you want to do with it, you can save it directly to photo gallery or chose to upload to Instagram in three different formats:
- Instagram Crop
- Instagram Full
- Instagram Float
You also have the ability of posting your picture directly on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
If you choose to have the picture posted to one of your social networks it won't save that copy onto your camera roll. For example, if I wanted to upload a picture from Pic.Tap.Go directly onto Instagram the picture will skip being saved onto my photo gallery, however once I post the picture on Instagram that picture will also be saved onto my photo gallery depending on your settings. If you choose not to save your selected picture from within the app (Pic.Tap.Go) on to your photo gallery and neither do you upload the picture anywhere else, I'm afraid once the app completely stops running you'll lose the edited picture. But at least I won't end up with three or four different copies of the same picture :-)
The app is available for free on the app store however there some in app purchases for additional filters.

I've been using vscocam to edit my instagram pictures and I think it saves only the insta version if I don't want to save it before ;) It's a great thing, it's so annoying to have to go back and delete multiple copies! ;) xx

Oh I must try this! My phone does not have a good camera so I definitely need an app like this one. Thanks for the suggestion.
