I've always said that there was not much to expect from a powder foundation, but I guess I could not have been anymore wrong. I've only tried about three powder foundations and one of those powder foundations was from the HD Brows makeup range...and what a let down that was. I guess powder foundations are more suited for those who do not need that much coverage, whilst someone who needs more coverage is best suited with a liquid or cream foundation.
Over the last couple of months, I've been taking extra care of my skin and stuck to a very strict skin regime which has worked really great for me and my complexion has never been clearer, so when In The Buff approached me to review some of their products it was all about putting their foundation to the test against all the other powder foundations that I have tested before, plus I've never really gone for mineral cosmetics so I was excited to test to them out.

When I received my In The Buff package, I was really impressed with the packaging. It came wrapped beautifully in a blue envelope tied neatly with a blue bow. I received the mineral foundation & blusher from In The Buff which came in plastic pots.
Blusher | Shade : rockstar
foundation | shade : vanilla frosting
Mineral powder foundation | £22.50
This powder foundation has probably got to be one of the best powder foundations I have come across. It's a loose powder foundation which offers light coverage which you could easily build up slightly if you required a little bit more coverage. It leaves a natural soft satin sort of texture finish...you'll forget that your even wearing any makeup! I used my elf mineral powder brush to apply and blend the foundation onto my skin which got the job done seamlessly.
The foundation is made out of 100% natural ingredients and contains SPF 15 and is great for those whom have minor skin issues. I have some red patches on my skin, so when I wore this foundation I was really impressed to find that it totally covered any redness that I had on my skin without the need for any concealer and my makeup lasted all day long with minimal touch ups. I love it!
MINERAL POWDER blusher | Price : £17.00
The second product that I received from In The Buff was their loose powder blusher which too also is 100% pure and leaves a soft satin like finish. I got the blusher in the shade Rockstar which is like a light natural pink. My favourite thing about this blusher is that it's so easily blendable and how pigmented the colour actually was...you only need a little bit to give you that perfect colour and glow to your cheekbones.

What a beautiful look the foundation and blush left on your skin. I've never really been a power foundation gal myself until here recently I tried the Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation and fell in love with it!
