This is the first time that I attended the Pegasus Beauty Showcase Event and I'm glad I picked up on their tweet and got myself on the guest list for the event (it's not a event you want to miss!) This year the event was held in Mayfair, London at The Westbury Hotel on the 10th of July where some of the top 20 brands from make up to skincare brands met under one roof.
Collection, Dr.organic, trilogy, Bio-Oil, Soft & Gentle, Avene, Chapstick, Elle Macpherson, Culticura, Holland & Barrett, Australian Bodycare, MICRO Pedi, Rapid White, Colladeen Visage, Witch, Lloyds Pharmacy, Rokit, Templespa and Jivesse.

At the event Collection showcased three of their new exciting products which are set to be launched for this autumn!
The brush of this mascara reminded me of the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara and I hope to see excellent results from the mascara as I have done with the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde. The mascara is set to be launched in Superdrug stores on the 24th of September and in Boots on the 1st of October and will be priced at an attractive and affordable £4.99. The Big Fake Curves Mascara comes along with a hot pink hourglass silicone brush which from experience is easier to use when applying mascara to the corners of your eyelashes. Collection recommend two coats of this mascara to maximise the volumised effects. The mascara will be available in Ultra Black and Ultra Black Waterproof...(pretty convenient timing for the raining autumn!)
Bottom Right: Collection Heroes Lasting Gel Nail Polishes
I was excited to find that the Collection Heroes Lasting Gel Nail Polish in a dark green shade (can't remember the exact shade name...sorry!) was part of the goodie bag that I received from the event! I noticed the nail polish on the hands of the lady at the Collection stand who I spoke to about their products. Personally I love to wear dark or pastel shades on my nails and I have been looking for the perfect dark green nail polish for a long time...thank you Collection for making it possible! :-)
Collection are releasing four new trend setting shades in this nail polish set for perfect looking glossy nails for the Autumn. The new shades have been inspired by the glam and vampy A/W14 catwalks and you should be able to catch them in stores from the 3rd of September in Boots and in Superdrug from the 24th of September in the following shades:
- Poison Ivy
- Daredevil
- In the Shadows
- Goldfinger
I'm certainly excited to try the new nail polish and can't wait for the mascara to hit the stores. Collection have never failed to please me before!

Soft and Gentle probably had the best display that I had seen at the showcase event! It sort of just lured me in with all the pretty colours! Soft and Gentle are relaunching their anti-perspirant deodorants with advanced protection and with a fresh new look!

Bio-Oil has been my saviour in the past and from personal experience it proven to be effective on stretch marks. Bio-Oil's unique formula comes packed with vital skin loving ingredients such as vitamin A & E with Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile oils. Bio-Oil also contains a unique ingredient, PurCellin Oil which ensures that the oil is absorbed deep into the skin targeting areas which require treatment.

- Tea Tree Oil: For it's antibacterial and antiseptic properties
- Macadamia Seed Oil: Contains fatty acids to prevent skin ageing and restores a moisture balance in the skin.
- Bisabolol: Boosts the benefits of Tea Tree Oil and is derived from Chamomile with calming properties.
Even though, I have not tried any of those products as of yet...it sounds like something we all should have close by all year round.
