I love
making my own DIY facial masks at home. I've been using this green tea facial
which is really easy to make and I've been using it for like three weeks now
and I've been getting so many kind compliments about the condition of my skin.
Unfortunately when I first started off making my own facial masks I took one of
the kitchen bowls to make the mask. Obviously it doesn't really matter exactly
what you use to make a mask as long as you got your ingredients right. From
using a glass bowl and a mac makeup brush (which was not ideal to mix up the
ingredients) I then moved onto using my hair dye bowl and hair dye brush which
I never use to apply dye to my hair anyway. My hair dye bowl is a medium sized
bowl and I don't like to keep a facial mask aside for more than 2 days so every
time I make my mask I always estimate too much and the hair dye brush is a flat
brush and I am always having to hold it a different angles trying to get the
facial mask on to my face.
Ok, so
you get it I've having trouble some trouble with making my facial mask. I
picked this new Facial Mask Kit yesterday from Wilkinson. As soon as I walked
in the Fruits aisle was just in my face plus the colours of their products are
so vibrant that it will pull anyone into the aisle. I saw this facial mask kit
for £1.50 and it just had my name all over it!
The kit
comes along with a little mixing bowl, a plastic spoon and a soft and sturdy
brush. The bowl is the perfect sized bowl to create a facial mask for one
application without over estimating, I don't use a measuring jug or anything
because I'm far too lazy to do that so I kind of just estimate by how much
depth of the bowl I fill.
I would
not recommend the spoon for mixing or picking up any ingredients such as maybe
something that was a powder form, however if your not making your own facial
mask but rather are using one purchased from the store than you can also make
use of this facial mask kit. The spoon is ideal for scooping out facial masks
from their original packaging. Simply scoop and put it inside the mixing bowl
and give it a little mix with either the spoon or the brush and then apply the
mask with the brush onto your skin.
The
brush has its many uses you can use it to mix and apply mask to your face
whether your making your own or not. I've had a better experience of using this
brush to apply the mask to my face then any other brush. The brush can hold the
mask pretty well together when applying the facial and you don't need to hold
it 500 different angles to be able to get into place.
