I first caught sight of the brand, Dermadeli on twitter as I browsed through tweets in regards to green tea products, shortly afterwards I was lucky enough to be contacted by Dermadeli asking if I wanted to try their products. I happily browsed their website in search for the products that I wanted to try...obviously one of them had to be their Green Tea Leaf Exfoliating Scrub (I have this weird obsession with green tea and that's because...IT'S SO GREAT!) and I also chose the Complete Meal Cleanser, because it sounds like one of those products that is food to your skin.

Dermadeli had the products delivered to me so fast. I was super excited to try their products, so excited that the moment that it was delivered, I ripped opened the packing to find love at the bottom of these jars.
...Ok...so I didn't really find love at the bottom of them but I rather found two excellent products that have helped my acne clear and provided me with a healthier and brighter complexion.

COMPLETE MEAL CLEANSER
I think it's just been about two weeks since I have started using this product and I cannot praise it enough. Two years ago, I had my first outbreak of acne and I started using all sorts of products to clear it up and thankfully I managed to get rid of it but still get the occasional break out. Recently over the last three months, my acne returned to haunt me. I tried using everything that worked before and that included the Dermalogica Ultra Calming range but nothing seemed to be quite as effective as it use to be... and then Dermadeli fell into my hands and from my first try of this product I immediately saw improvements on my skin the very next day.
I first expected the Complete Meal Cleanser to just be in a liquid state...basically not like a scrub. However this cleanser comes along with particles of sugar and oatmeal in it and smells pretty much like your morning porridge. The cleanser also contains oil which pretty much makes it the perfect cleanser for those with dry skin.
Recently I wrote a post for the Groupon London City Guide about Facial Oils and how they can be used to eliminate oil with oil:
"Here’s the theory: oil cancels out oil, so believe it or not oil based cleansers are ideal for oily skin types. How does this work? When the content of oil in the skin is imbalanced, the oil that your skin produces clogs your pores and leads to breakouts.
The idea that most people have is that they need to strip away oil however this only causes your skin to produce more. Oily or combination skin types can benefit from washing their skin with face oil - a good quality facial oil will assist in restoring your skin with fatty acids and the moisture it requires, causing a proper balance of oil within the skin."
I'm not quite sure if this specific cleanser is ideal for those with oily or combination skin but I find it that in specific areas where I usually get build up in my skin, it just really helps to cleanse it all out so if you do have oily skin and would like to try this product then probably best to refer to Dermadeli.
The cleanser comes along with the mixer which I use to take the cleanser out of the jar and place it into the palms of my hand and then again with the mixer I would use to mix up the cleanser with about 1-2 drops of water (recommended by Dermadeli) and the product must be mixed with water before you go ahead and put it all over your skin. Dermadeli recommended about 1 tsp of this cleanser but I find that it is a bit too much for me so I like to use just a little bit more than a half. The cleanser is gentle enough for daily use and is suitable for dry and normal skin.
From my experience, after each time I use this product my skin feels so good and soft. It feel likes my skin has been very thoroughly cleansed but without having to suffer the consequences of an aggressive cleanse. It's probably noteworthy to mention that I have dry & sensitive skin and my skin has been through a lot over the last couple of years and that includes random allergic reactions. I find this cleanser doesn't do anything to aggravate my skin or even cause any dry skin,in fact it's been healing practically any dry patches that I had. This cleanser is a keeper and I am replacing all my other cleaners with this one beauty...definitely one of the products that I will be stocking up on.

GREEN TEA LEAF EXFOLIATING SCRUB
Now you all must have a slight idea why one would go chasing after Green Tea. Green Tea is an antioxidant which reduces the sign of premature ageing, refines skin texture and its ideal for acne prone skin and also enlarged pores.

The scrub comes along with this little mixer which can be used to pick up the product. Like the Complete Meal Cleanser this product must be mixed with water as you can tell from the pictures this scrub is powder based and mixing it with water causes the substance to become smooth and creamy and ready for action. Dermadeli recommend approximately 1tsp of this product and a few drops of water.
So it's not the most attractive scrub to look at but its the definitely one of the best. I use this scrub every other day and it just really helped me take care of my acne and after every use my skin looks so much more brighter. The first time I came across green tea in facial products was a facial mask cloth which I picked at the Olympia Beauty Show couple of months ago and from there I fell in love with green tea and what it could do for my skin which is the reason why I chase after it so much.
The first time I used this product the fragrance reminded me of my green tea facial mask which I make myself at home with a bit of green tea and rice flour but this product contains skin loving ingredients such as Adzuki Bean Powder which removes the dirt and dead skin cells from surface of the skin. It also contains yogurt powder which soothes and softens skin and most importantly it also contains Green Tea Leaf powder which provides antioxidants, prevents skin damage and promotes elasticity.
I don't use any other scrub apart from this green mess...it's my favourite mess.

Colloidal oatmeal, colloidal sugar, flax seed powder, green tea leaf powder, yogurt powder, and adzuki bean powder.
The Green Tea Leaf Exfoliating Scrub is priced at $19.00 which in the UK I think is about £11.78 (please correct me if I am wrong!) and the Complete Meal Cleanser is priced at $24.00 which in the UK I think is about £14.67. These two products have definitely stolen the limelight when it comes to skincare products for me and I will definitely be repurchasing and also trying out their other products as well so look out for them!
Thank you for reading.
