Recently I was approached to try out Siin, which is an Austrian beauty company which is breaking its way into the UK. Siin are launching a range of anti-ageing skincare products called Edelweiss which I was very excited to try!
It's been a while since I have tried a new cleanser or moisturiser as my skin is quite difficult to tame and Dermalogica have been the only brand of cleansers and moisturisers that have been able to control it, so when I was approached to try these products I was a tad sceptical. It's very important to be careful with what we put on our skin and you should always test the products before you go ahead and use it, however after using the Edelweiss skin care products, I was certainly very pleasantly surprised.
Edelweiss, the legendary star of the Austrian Alps packed with active agents such as powerful antibacterials, antiseptics and antioxidants effects to protect your skin and reduce the signs of skin ageing and wrinkles by stimulating blood circulation, increasing skin elasticity and stimulating skin renewal.
The two fabulous products that I had received was the Edeleweiss Milky Cleansing Cleanser and the 24H Essence Cream.
Edelweiss Milky Cleansing
This cleanser is absolutely divine!
The gel like cleanser after one application left my skin feeling smooth, soft and relaxed and the best past was that it smells so good (you just keep on wanting to wash your in milky cleansing!)
Due to the ingredients within the cleanser the skin is left relaxed so if your one of them like me that has to immediately moisturise after cleansing because your skin feels so tight then be reassured that this cleanser will take care of that and leave your skin feeling completely relaxed.
My skin is prone to acne and all sorts, however this cleanser did nothing to aggravate any flare ups but instead did a good job of clearing up my complexion. The cleanser is friendly to skin and suitable for all skin types and contains the following skin loving ingredients:
- Exclusive Edelweiss Extract
- Precious Rose Oil: Known for its healing and antiseptic properties
- Goji Berry with Vitamin C, A (Retinol) and Vitamin B
- Ginseng Root Extract: Rids your skin of the free radicals that gets accumulated when your skin is regularly exposed to sunlight and environmental pollution
Edelweiss 24H Essence Cream
When it comes to moisturisers like many people, I have a day and night cream. My day cream is a lightweight moisturiser whilst my night cream is more intense. As I suffer from dry skin I find it that my day moisturiser cannot tame my dry skin sometimes, which would leed to over moisturising which does not work well when I need to apply make up afterwards. Over the last couple of weeks that I have been using the 24H Essence Cream, its replaced my day and night time moisturisers. The cream is suitable for all types of skin and has been been dermatologically tested.
This bundle of joy intensively moisturisers skin however it does not leave your skin feeling greasy. All you need is a wee bit to keep your skin moisturised and it leaves your skin feeling super soft (believe me...you will not be able to stop touching your skin!) and the luscious fragrance is just bonus!
I find that after using the cream for a couple of days my facial pores were much smaller (barely even there!)

I have enjoyed using the Edelweiss products so much that I am running out of the samples that they sent over to me, but I think its safe to say I will be purchasing the products myself.
