Beauty products for the month:
1. Benefit Brow Zings (Brow Shaping Kit)
2. Smashbox Be Lengendary Lipstick
2. Smashbox Be Lengendary Lipstick
3. L.A Girl Fine Line Eyeliner
I've never been one to use any brow shaping tools before as I do not think my eyebrows need it as their already quite thick and dark, but these day I keep seeing so many beautiful girls with their eyebrows shaped in perfection so I decided to purchase the Benefit Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit.
I was really impressed with this kit as its super easy to use and it comes with all the tools you would need to clean, smooth and perfect your brows with.
- Hard angled brush
- Blending Brush
- Mini tweezers
- Soft pigmented Wax (to shape and define)
- Natural shaded powder (to fill in sparse areas and setting)
- A mirror
- A mini lesson
It's an excellent palette and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a brow shaping kit.
For me, as my eyebrows are already quite dark, shaping and defining them only makes them look overpowering.
Smashbox Be Lengendary Lipstick
| Price: £15.50 |
I love a good Smashbox lipstick. I usually stick to natural shades with my lipsticks and lip glosses but this time I thought I would go for something a tad different. I absolutely love this shade (Vivid Violet), I keep it natural looking throughout the day and top it up and go bold in the evenings.
L.A Girl Fine Line Eyeliner
I'm a huge fan of liquid liners and have never been impressed with felt liners before, but I purchased the L.A Girls Eyeliner from Beauty Base for only £2.99 and thought I would give it a try. I find it to be liner that has been better then some of the ones that I have used previously but it requires a lot of work.
Guerlain Parure Gold
Guerlain fragrances have always been an absolute favourite of mine. I've always wanted to purchase some of the makeup range and I did just that when I bumped into their stand at Beauty Base.
This foundation comes equipped with a luxurious pump and smells really good! I would expect this foundation to be as amazing as my Giorgio Armani Designer Lift, however it's been a huge let down and a waste of money. It's a thick foundation that glides on to your face seamlessly but still feels quite heavy on your face. The foundation comes packed with anti ageing properties and I may not show any signs of ageing yet but unlike some of Giorgio Armani's foundation, this foundation does nothing to uplift the skin. I bought the lightest foundation that was available at Beauty Base (Shade 03 Beige Natural) however there are more lighter shades than this on and it still feels as though its quite dark for my skin under natural light. The foundation has a very appealing fragrance to it and it does provide a medium-full coverage.
